Kirk Herbstreit named his top-performing teams for Week 3 on Monday evening.

Herbstreit included a pair of SEC programs at the top of his list: Florida and Missouri. Both the Gators and the Tigers pulled of big upset wins over the weekend.

BYU, Sacramento State, South Alabama, Miami (Ohio) and Fresno State also made Herbstreit’s list.

Florida defeated Tennessee 29-16 in Gainesville on Saturday. The Gators have now won 17 of the last 19 meetings in this series. Tennessee still has not picked up a win in Gainesville since 2003.

The Gators are now 2-1 on the season and have a 1-0 record in SEC play.

Missouri defeated Kansas State at home on Saturday thanks to a game-winning field goal at the end of regulation. The Tigers are now 3-0 on the season after upsetting the No. 15 Wildcats.

Quarterback Brady Cook threw for 356 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.

Herbstreit and the rest of the College GameDay crew will be in South Bend this weekend for Notre Dame-Ohio State.
