Kirk Herbstreit reveals list of top-performing coaches for Week 12
Kirk Herbstreit has published his list of top-performing coaches for Week 12 in college football.
New Mexico State coach Jerry Kill earned the top spot on Herbstreit’s list. Kill led his NMSU team to a stunning upset over Auburn this weekend. It’s the second straight year that Kill has defeated Hugh Freeze. Kill also bested Freeze last season when the Tigers coach was still at Liberty.
Arizona coach Jedd Fisch, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney, Kansas State coach Chris Klieman, UCLA coach Chip Kelly, Virginia coach Tony Elliott and Northwestern coach David Braun also made the cut this week.
Here’s the full list:

Fisch and the Wildcats had a strong win over then-ranked Utah in Week 12. Arizona jumped out to a 28-0 lead over the Utes before ultimately winning 42-18.
Swinney led Clemson to its third consecutive double-digit win this weekend. The Tigers are playing arguably their best football of the season during the month of November. Clemson will face South Carolina on the road in Week 13 as it tries to get to 8-4 on the season.
