Kirk Herbstreit says UCF deserves to be ranked ahead of 2 one-loss national powers
When the College Football Playoff rankings are updated on Tuesday night, many will be watching to see where undefeated UCF ranks.
Currently, the Knights are the No. 11 team in the country, behind one-loss teams like Michigan, Georgia, Washington State, Oklahoma and Ohio State. UCF will likely hop over a West Virginia team that lost this weekend, but they could rise even higher.
On Tuesday’s episode of “The Paul Finebaum Show,” analyst Kirk Herbstreit said he wouldn’t be surprised to see UCF jump over Oklahoma and Ohio State as well:
"The combination of seeing McKenzie Milton and that offense, along with Ohio State's defensive woes and Oklahoma's defensive woes, I'd have no problem with @UCF_Football moving up past Ohio State, and up past Oklahoma." @KirkHerbstreit on with me earlier

That would theoretically put the Knights at No. 8 in Tuesday night’s rankings, which would be an incredible accomplishment for the undefeated Group of 5 squad.
The Knights looked good while beating a ranked Cincinnati squad on Saturday and now a game against rival USF is the only thing remaining between them and another undefeated regular season.
