Kirk Herbstreit updates top 4 College Football Playoff teams at end of Rivalry Week

Kirk Herbstreit noted the change in the College Football Playoff contenders on Saturday night as the ESPN analyst called the Notre Dame-USC game.
And his updated top 4 teams are Georgia, Michigan, TCU and USC, as Alabama and Ohio State are just outside the top 4 rankings and semifinal matchups.
The biggest result of the day was Michigan’s upset of Ohio State in Columbus, 45-23, and then Texas A&M knocking off LSU cleared a path for the Trojans to move into the top 4, as LSU was ranked fifth last week, and USC No. 6.
Barring future upsets next week in the conference championship games, it appears the field could be set for the games to be played at the Peach Bowl, Fiesta Bowl and at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The final selection committee rankings of the 2022 season will be released on selection day, Sunday, December 4.
