Lane Kiffin knows a thing or two about preparing to face SEC teams. The former Alabama offensive coordinator and Tennessee head coach played plenty of SEC foes over the years.

So, when he says Florida Atlantic is preparing for UCF like it’s an SEC team, that carries some serious weight.

Per the Palm Beach Post, Kiffin praised UCF QB McKenzie Milton and said the Knights are comparable to an SEC team in several aspects of the game:

“Height, weight, speed, the players, the size of the guys,” Kiffin said. “It’s like playing an SEC opponent.”

UCF hasn’t lost a game since the 2016 Cure Bowl against Arkansas State, so they have the longest winning streak in the country.

Will that end at the hands of the Owls? That remains to be seen on Saturday, but Kiffin’s squad will be ready.
