Les Miles’ live-tweeting of Mayweather-McGregor fight proves he’s the boxing analyst we need

On Saturday night, many in the sports world were tuned in to the mega-fight between boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and UFC star Conor McGregor.

Among those watching the big event was former LSU coach Les Miles, who tweeted for the first time since rejoining Twitter earlier this month to share his thoughts on the fight.

Throughout the 10-round Mayweather victory, which he won by technical knockout, Miles was active on Twitter — unfiltered and without a spell-check.

Before the fight even started, Miles got us started with some pregame analysis:

Then, it took a couple of rounds to get McGregor’s name right:

There were some tweets that provided some actual insight, but then there were some that were nearly impossible to decipher:

Then, just like that, the fight was over, and Miles signed off for the night with one more post-fight tweet:

Just like the fight, Miles’ night on Twitter had some ups and downs, but one thing is for sure — Twitter is a better place with Miles around.
