LOOK: New tradition? President Trump serves fast food spread to North Dakota State football team

After Clemson won the College Football Playoff title game over Alabama, the Tigers were invited to the White House.
The problem was that the government was shut down at the time, so president Donald Trump paid for a fast-food spread to be catered for the team.
On Monday, even though the government has been reopened, the North Dakota State football team got a similar spread. As you can see below, the FCS champions got a spread that included Big Macs and Chick-fil-A sandwiches:

Obviously, this spread is better than what Clemson got, because it includes Chick-fil-A, so clearly the president heard some of the outrage over Clemson’s meal.
Will this become a new tradition in college athletics? We’ll find out if and when the basketball national champions pay a visit to the nation’s capital.
