Luke Combs is an Appalachian State alum, so he was an obvious choice for celebrity guest picker on ESPN’s College GameDay on Saturday morning.
The popular pregame show was live from Boone, North Carolina, ahead of the Mountaineers’ showdown with Troy. Appalachian State got the honor of hosting the show after knocking off Texas A&M in stunning fashion in Week 2.
Combs clearly knows his stuff when it comes to college football, and fans were impressed with his picks. Here’s some of the reaction to his appearance on Twitter:

Combs took some big swings with his picks, so we’ll see if he’s proven right. Even if his picks struggle, he was entertaining enough to warrant another appearance in the future.
