Ole Miss on Saturday gained a commitment from tight end Luke Hasz, who entered the transfer portal after a pair of seasons at Arkansas. Hasz revealed the news via a post to X on Saturday.
“Thankful for this opportunity and to be (a part) of something special! Excited to take what I have learned and get to work! God’s plan always prevails! Hotty Toddy,” he wrote.
Hasz is a former 4-star recruit from the 2023 class, rated the No. 12 tight end in the country and a Top 200 recruit by 247Sports. As a true freshman, he appeared in 5 games, making 16 catches for 253 yards and 3 touchdowns. In 2024, he made 26 grabs for 324 yards and 4 scores.
On Dec. 6, though, Hasz announced that he would enter the transfer portal. He will now head to Oxford to join Lane Kiffin‘s program, becoming the third former Razorback to transfer to Ole Miss this weekend as OL Patrick Kutas and cornerback Jaylon Braxton are each headed to the program as well.
The Razorbacks finished 6-6, two more wins than their 4-8 season in 2023. Meanwhile, the Rebels, who were 9-3, just missed out on the College Football Playoff.
