If you missed it over the weekend, the 2021 MLB Draft was held with four pitchers from the Southeastern Conference being selected in the first round.

Vanderbilt’s Jack Leiter and Kumar Rocker were each selected in the top 10 with Mississippi State’s Will Bednar going No. 14 and Gunnar Hoglund of Ole Miss going No. 19.

In addition to those SEC arms drafted in the first round, 11 SEC signees were selected in the 2021 MLB Draft.
