Nation’s 5th ranked running back John Emery has 6 SEC programs in his top 8

It appears there’s an outstanding chance John Emery winds up playing his college football in the SEC.
The Destrehan, Louisiana native announced his top 8 schools on Friday and six Southeastern Conference schools were mentioned on his list: Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, and Tennessee. Ranked as the No. 5 running back in the nation by 247Sports Composite Rankings for the 2019 recruiting cycle, Emery is considered the No. 72 overall prospect in the nation.

To get an idea of why he’s in such demand, check out his high school highlight reel. He appears to possess an incredible drive to score and never ceases to stop churning his legs when he nears the goal line. His top-end speed is about as high as you’d expect for a nationally-ranked running back prospect.
