NCAA Selection Show reveals what seeds Auburn, Tennessee would have if tournament started today

On Sunday, the NCAA held a March Madness Bracket Preview show, where it was revealed how the selection committee views the top 16 seeds as things stand right now.
With several SEC teams competing for spots in the 68-team tournament field,
Even after some of the top teams lost on Saturday, the experts still have Virginia, Villanova, Purdue and Xavier as the four No. 1 seeds:
Virginia. Villanova. Xavier. Purdue.

Auburn, coming off a big win at Georgia on Saturday afternoon, is waiting to make the jump to a No. 1 seed, checking it as the top No. 2 seed in the rankings:

The four No. 3 seeds didn’t feature any SEC teams, but had some traditional powers like Michigan State and North Carolina:

Despite a blowout loss to Alabama on Saturday night, Tennessee still would be a No. 4 seed in the tournament if it started today:

There are still four weeks left in the regular season, so these seeds are sure to change. However, it’ll be interesting to see how many SEC squads make the field and where they end up.
