NCAA working group expected to recommend changes to NCAA name, image and likeness rules
The NCAA recently put together a working group to explore letting athletes make money from their names, images and likenesses.
Now, it appears that group has reached some conclusions that it will present to the board of governors on Tuesday.
Below, you can see what those rules entail. As you can imagine, some of them are pretty detailed:

This is just an early jumping off point. We’ll have to see what the final rules end up being, but this is certainly a good start.
It seems things are trending positively for athletes to be able to start making money with their NIL rights, so we’ll see how that is put into effect if these rules are indeed passed.
