No leeway: Oklahoma, Texas players issued unsportsmanlike conduct penalties before game

The referees in Dallas are already struggling to keep the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns under control.

A pair of pregame scuffles took place, so the refs had to take a drastic measure — issuing team-wide unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.

Per a report from Brian Davis, now if anyone gets a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct during Saturday’s game, they’ll be ejected:

The Red River Rivalry is one of the most intense in all of college football. These teams clearly don’t like each other, so we’ll see if anyone is disqualified from the action.
