One of the top quarterbacks in the Class of 2017 is largely divided over playing in the SEC or the Pac-12.

Tua Tagovailoa, the No. 2 dual-threat QB in the cycle, announced his top eight in no particular order on Twitter this afternoon. He’s considering Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas A&M from the SEC as well as USC, UCLA and Washington from the Pac-12.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect from Honolulu is also considering Hawaii of the Mountain West Conference.

According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Tagovailoa is a four-star prospect out of St. Louis High School in Hawaii, the same school that Tennessee Titans QB Marcus Mariota attended.

Tagovailoa was the first QB to be offered by the Crimson Tide after Jake Fromm, the No. 4 pro-style QB in the class, flipped to Georgia earlier this month.
