The Ohio State University offered fans a free desktop and iPhone background Wednesday that simply stated “SILENCE,” and that probably wasn’t the best of decisions considering everything that’s happened in the last three months.
Of course, Urban Meyer was suspended for the first three games of the season. Meyer was embroiled in the Zach Smith, Courtney Smith scandal in which Courtney accused Zach of domestic abuse. Meyer has strongly denied any cover up of alleged abuse by Smith, but he certainly failed to make the proper management actions relating to Smith’s misconduct.
On Wednesday following a tumultuous start to the season with respect to the scandal and suspension, the Buckeyes released this background on Twitter:
