We are one week from signing day and while a few players and schools are still out shopping, most of the gifts have been wrapped.

Some have been unwrapped, especially in places like Tuscaloosa, where 5-stars Najee Harris, Alex Leatherwood, Dylan Moses, Jerry Jeudy and Tua Tagovailoa have already enrolled. Seven other prospects already are on campus, too.

With one more weekend for visits, just 18 of the top 100 prospects on the 247Sports.com composite board remain uncommitted.

Which means most SEC coaches know what to expect to find on the fax machine Wednesday morning. (Though, given the way some of these kids change their mind, committing via Snapchat seems a far better fit these days.)

Here’s a one-liner that sums up each SEC program’s 2017 recruiting class to date.

Alabama: Save some for the rest of us, will ya?

Arkansas: Who needs in-state talent; the Hogs are taking this thing global.

Auburn: Wait until you see this quarterback.

Florida: Coach Mac, is there a rule against signing 5-star talent?

Georgia: Anybody seen how Miami’s class is coming together?

Kentucky: We have more kids from Ohio than Ohio State!

LSU: The Tigers have more 4-star QBs in this class than 4-star RBs. Wait. What?

Mississippi State: The only videos we want shared on social media are Hudl highlights, please!

Missouri: We like our class. Great kids. Great fit. Work hard. Show up early. Stay late. Outstanding young men.

Ole Miss: We’re behind Duke? Seriously? I meant show me the football recruiting rankings.

South Carolina: Dear Dabo: We landed the two best players in South Carolina and are favorites for the third. Peace, love, Boom.

Tennessee: Why couldn’t Trey Smith have pulled a Jake Bentley, graduated high school early and started for the 2016 team!

Texas A&M: Our problem was we had too many 5-stars and 4-stars, so we addressed that concern in this class.

Vanderbilt: We’re smart enough to realize these rankings don’t matter, right Ralph?
