4-star All-American tight end Oscar Delp updates his recruitment, announces top schools
One of the nation’s best tight end prospects for the 2022 recruiting cycle is a step closer to making his college decision.
On Monday, Oscar Delp of West Forsyth High School in Cumming, Ga., announced he has his options narrowed down to 13 programs but did note his recruitment was “still open” while declaring the 13 schools at the top of his list.
Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU and South Carolina all made his list from the SEC while Clemson, Oklahoma, Michigan, North Carolina, Northwestern, Stanford and USC were the programs outside the nation’s best football conference to make Delp’s top 13.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Georgia native is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 10 tight end in the country and a top 250 overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.
When his senior season at West Forsyth High School comes to an end, Delp is scheduled to participate in the 2022 All-American Bowl.
