The finalist for the Joe Mooe Award were revealed Wednesday afternoon, leaving just 4: LSU, Georgia, Oregon and Washington.

The Joe Moore Award is given to the top offensive line in college football annually. Michigan, which is not a finalist this season, has won the award the past 2 seasons.

Here’s a look at the announcement.

LSU and Georgia are both deserving of the finalist nod. Georgia allowed just 12 sacks this season, which leads the SEC and is 3rd in the country according to a press release from the award. The bulldogs offense generates just shy of 500 yards per game this past season thanks in part to its O-line.

And there was no offense in the country as potent as LSU’s this season. The consistent LSU O-line kept the same starting lineup in 11 of the 12 games played this season. The Tigers also led the nation in yards per rush, 6.33.
