Paul Finebaum joins SportsCenter every Sunday morning to provide his updated rankings of the top teams in college football.

Following an exciting Week 11 slate of games, the SEC Network host gave us his updated top 4 rankings.

As you can see below, he had Georgia and Alabama in the top 2 spots, followed by Ohio State and Oregon. Here’s what he said about each team:

  • 4. Oregon Ducks: “Oregon — give them credit. They have bounced back from the overtime loss to Stanford. They have a very difficult game this week at Utah, which I think could derail their entire season.”
  • 3. Ohio State Buckeyes: “Yes, I know Ohio State lost to Oregon, but right now, they’re trending toward one of the better teams outside of Georgia. The Buckeyes continue to roll. They have Michigan State and Michigan. What an exciting finish for the Big Ten.”
  • 2. Alabama Crimson Tide: “A pedestrian opponent, but Bryce Young threw 5 touchdowns. Now, Alabama has Arkansas and Auburn before the likely SEC Championship Game against Georgia.”
  • 1. Georgia Bulldogs: “Guess who? Georgia. Georgia struggled yesterday. They were trailing. They gave up 10 points early. Then, they did what Georgia always does. They completely overwhelmed their opponent in Neyland Stadium to win big.”

It sounds like Finebaum thinks this coming weekend’s Oregon-Utah matchup could be a tough one for the Ducks.

We’ll see if Oregon can remain in Playoff contention moving forward.
