Chad Powers was featured prominently on Monday night’s “ManningCast” of the primetime NFL game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.

Peyton Manning sported a Chad Powers shirt. While Eli Manning wore a Giants top in support of his former team, a photo from his Powers tryout at Penn State could be seen in the background of his home setup.

The brothers had some friendly ribbing when discussing the viral clip from Eli’s ESPN+ show “Eli’s Places.”

“Eli, the funny thing that people didn’t get to see, is that a couple of those coaches were saying they thought Powers looked like Eli Manning but Powers throws it so much better than Eli Manning ever did,” Peyton joked. “That’s kind of what threw them off, in my opinion.”

Eli countered that the aspiring Penn State receivers were not fast enough to keep up with his arm talent, which he joked is Peyton’s favorite word in the football dictionary.

ESPN shared a clip from the ManningCast, which can be viewed on ESPN+ and ESPN2.

It’s safe to say “Eli’s Places” is going to have a hard time topping the “Chad Powers” bit in terms of exposure.
