Peyton Woodyard is one of the top-30 recruits in the 2024 recruiting class. The standout defensive back out of California is starting to narrow his recruitment.

Woodyard, a St. John Bosco (Bellflower, California) standout, named his top 7 teams on Sunday evening. Georgia and Florida are in the top group, along with Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon and USC.

Listed at 6-2, 188 pounds, Woodyard is rated 4-stars, the No. 2 California recruit, No. 2 safety and No. 29 prospect overall in the class on the 247Sports composite rankings. Woodyard, who also plays baseball, is set to play in the Polynesian Bowl high school all-star game.

Florida extended a scholarship offer to Woodyard in October.

In November, Woodyard tweeted about visiting Georgia.
