The transfer market in college basketball is in full swing right now, and one of the big names looking for a new school is Rhode Island guard Tyrese Martin.

On Monday, Martin reportedly narrowed down his list of candidates to 5, and that list included 2 SEC squads.

As you can see below, college basketball insider Jon Rothstein reports that Georgia and Ole Miss are still in the mix for Martin’s services:

Those 2 SEC programs will compete with UConn, Oregon and Seton Hall for Martin’s services moving forward. Martin has played 2 years at Rhode Island, so he’ll likely have to sit out the 2020-21 season before having 2 years of eligibility left.

Martin appeared in 30 games this past year for the Rams, starting all 30. He averaged 12.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
