Purdue coach Jeff Brohm was faced with a brutal decision the past couple of days — stay with the Boilermakers, a team he has built over the past two years, or head to Louisville, his alma mater.

It wasn’t an easy decision, but it appears Brohm has reached his final verdict.

Per reports on Wednesday evening, Brohm has decided to stay in West Lafayette and remain the coach of the Boilermakers:

In two seasons at Purdue, Brohm has a record of 13-12, finishing 6-6 each regular season and winning last year’s bowl game.

That’s better than Purdue has been able to accomplish in a long time, so now Brohm can continue that upward trend.
