If anyone was expecting Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche to hide from the world as his coach determines if he’ll play in the Sugar Bowl, think again.

A story from The Clarion-Ledger shows Nkemdiche performing at the Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, Miss., on Thursday night with one of his brothers. Here you can see Robert playing the saxophone, but it’s unclear which of his brothers is on the guitar.

Denzel, a senior linebacker on the team, is doubtful to play in the Jan. 1 bowl game.

Robert took a 15-foot fall on Saturday night, requiring him to be taken to a local hospital. He was later charged with possession of marijuana on Monday. Police found seven rolled marijuana cigarettes in a hotel room tied to Nkemdiche, according to a report. It’s unclear if Nkemdiche will even physically be able to play as Freeze has said the junior needed stitches in his back and legs. Meanwhile, he had a swollen ankle at the time he spoke to the media.
