Saban, Long among the most powerful people in college sports
According to Forbes.com, Big Ten commissioner Jim Delaney is the most powerful person in college sports, ranking just above NCAA president Mark Emmert.
Tide head coach Nick Saban sits at No. 15, and he is one of three head coaches that made the list.
Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer falls at No. 17, and Duke basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski was the only basketball coach on the list at No. 19.
Arkansas AD and chairman of the College Football Playoff committee Jeff Long clinched the No. 13 spot.
SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey came in at No. 6 behind Delaney and Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby. Pac 12 commissioner Larry Scott and ACC commissioner John Swofford took home the No. 8 and No. 10 spots, respectively.
The founders of Under Armour and Nike also made the cut.
