ARKANSAS at No. 19 OLE MISS

The Razorbacks and Rebels went to overtime, and that meant more time for Ole Miss fans to be sad. However, before Oxford experienced free football, premature sadness swept over the stadium before Arkansas kicker Cole Hedlund’s potential game-winning 47-yard kick was blocked with three seconds left in regulation.

Overtime would eventually bring horror when Arkansas converted a fourth-and-25 in astonishing fashion. That would lead to QB Brandon Allen finding Drew Morgan for a 9-yard TD pass before Allen ran it in himself to convert the game-winning 2-point conversion.

This was an Arkansas fan after RB Alex Collins took Hunter Henry’s desperation backwards heave across the first down marker.

SOUTH CAROLINA at TENNESSEE

Knoxville has already experienced its fair share of appearances in our weekly sad fans as their team has let many games slip away this season. Down 27-24, South Carolina looked as though it was going to continue the trend as TE Jerell Adams was fighting his way deeper and deeper into the red zone with about 35 seconds left. Tennessee’s Malik Foreman would poke the ball out from behind to preserve the victory.

However, there were plenty of nervous Vols fans before they pulled out the win.

No. 4 LSU at No. 7 ALABAMA

It was a miserable day for LSU fans in their colossal showdown with Alabama. Nothing seemed to go their way in the 30-16 defeat, a fifth straight loss to the Tide.

There was a glimmer of sadness from this Alabama fan when the team fumbled early in the fourth quarter to set up an LSU touchdown that cut the deficit to 30-16.

But no one would score the rest of the game. As you can tell, we come full circle as this fan does the cup over the mouth similar to our first fan.
