Scott Van Pelt has a pick for this week’s SEC showdown between Texas A&M and South Carolina.

The veteran SportsCenter host is going with the Gamecocks +3 on Saturday vs. the Aggies, who are undefeated in SEC play. Van Pelt made the pick during his weekly ‘Winners’ segment on ESPN.

“South Carolina at home against A&M. Gamecocks laid an egg in their last home game against a ranked team, that was Ole Miss,” Van Pelt said. “We think Cocky shows up stronger in this one.”

Van Pelt is 4-8 all-time when picking South Carolina during this segment, per ESPN.

South Carolina is coming off of an open date. The last time the Gamecocks were in action, they thrashed Oklahoma 35-9 in Norman to move to 4-3 on the season.

The stakes are high for Texas A&M in this game. The Aggies are coming off of a comeback win over South Carolina this past weekend and enter Week 10 as the only SEC team that remains undefeated in SEC play.

Texas A&M is 9-1 all-time in this series. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
