SEC baseball in the 2019 NCAA Tournament: 6 teams advance to regional finals, 4 fighting to stay alive

After going 7-3 on Friday, the 10 SEC baseball teams in the NCAA Tournament went 9-1 on Saturday. The good news is that Tennessee, Florida and Texas A&M all avoided elimination and six teams (LSU, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Auburn) have advanced to their regional’s final. Georgia, however, now find itself in an elimination game after falling to FSU in the winner’s bracket game Saturday.

With that being the case, only the four teams fighting to stay alive know their opponents entering Sunday. Those four teams are all hoping to play a second game later in the day and force one more game Monday where the winner advances to the Super Regional. The six teams in the regional finals are obviously looking to take care of business and lock up the regional tonight.
