It’s only appropriate that college baseball opens on Valentine’s Day, right?

All 14 SEC teams are in action Friday night, with most of them playing at home. Entering the 2020 season, a whopping 9 SEC teams are ranked among the top 25 in the nation, according to the Preseason Coaches Poll.

Vanderbilt was picked by the SEC’s head coaches to win the conference during this preseason’s predicted order of finish poll, while Arkansas was predicted to win the SEC West.

Only 2 ranked vs. ranked games happen Friday night — No. 1 Vanderbilt faces No. 11 Michigan in the MLB4 Tournament, while No. 23 Ole Miss hosts No. 2 Louisville.
