College baseball is right around the corner in 2020, and the SEC figures to be loaded once again.

Defending national champion Vanderbilt enters the season as the nation’s top overall team, according to the USA Today Preseason Coaches’ Poll. Sophomore pitching ace Kumar Rocker returns, along with a host of talent, to make the Commodores again the team to beat.

Out of 31 coaches who vote in the poll, 20 of them voted Vandy No. 1; 10 of them voted Louisville No. 1, and one of them voted the Florida Gators No. 1.

Including Vandy, nine SEC teams enter the preseason ranked in the top 25, including six in the top 10. Georgia and Arkansas are ranked in the top five, while Mississippi State, Auburn and Florida are ranked in the top 10. LSU (12), Texas A&M (21) and Ole Miss (23) round out the top 25.
