This is what makes college football the most exciting sport in America.

Saturday’s litany of wild upsets, some unexpected and others not so much (Oklahoma State dominated TCU), caused major changes in national rankings and shook up bowl projections as we approach the middle of November.

In the SEC, LSU’s loss to Alabama forced a flip at the top placing the Crimson Tide in the College Football Playoff and the Tigers in New Orleans. LSU’s an extremely attractive pick for the Sugar in the New Year’s Six as long as the Tigers finish 10-1 (likely).

Ole Miss played itself out of a New Year’s Six at-large selection with its third loss of the season. The Rebels have been largely a disappointment since beating Alabama in September.
