SEC coaches to wear 'Coach to Cure' muscular dystrophy patch in Week 5
College coaching staffs nationwide this week will be wearing special ‘Coach to Cure’ apparel patches in support of raising awareness for Duchenne Muscular Mystrophy, a debilitating inherited disorder which causes muscle weakness.
All SEC coaching staffs performing on Saturday will wear the patches, bringing the approximate total of participating coaches in the AFCA-driven event to nearly 10,000 including more than 110 FBS programs according to Charley Green of Breakaway Sports.
You can donate to the ‘Coach to Cure’ cause here. Duchenne Muscular Mystrophy is the least most lethal childhood genetic disorder.
