Saturday’s seven games involving SEC teams should remain dry and pleasant.

Five of the seven should feature kickoff temperatures in the 70s, while only one game (Tennessee at Georgia) features more than a zero percent chance of precipitation at kickoff, and even that’s minimal.

In other words, expect some gorgeous weather throughout the South, including at Commonwealth Stadium and Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. (Can you really beat mid-70s with a few lazy, drifting clouds?)

Early arrivals in Dallas to watch the SEC West game of the week between Texas A&M and Arkansas should be aware of the heat, though most Texas natives are used to high 80s with a dash of humidity.

Here’s to hoping the nice weather sticks around. Lightning affected five SEC games the first two weeks of the season, and then heavy rain before the game helped destroy the Kyle Field playing surface in Week 3. But last week we got sunny, dry skies.

The first week with four SEC vs. SEC games should be a good one if you plan to tailgate or watch from a stadium seat.
