Tampa Bay-Kansas City Super Bowl LV set featuring rosters with 33 players from SEC schools
Super Bowl LV is set. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, playing in their home stadium, will face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Feb. 7. The Bucs defeated the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game 31-26 while the Chiefs topped the Buffalo Bills 38-24 to win the AFC.
The biggest storyline will be Patrick Mahomes vs. Tom Brady as the Chiefs look to repeat and the Bucs attempt to win their first title since the 2002 season, but SEC fans will recognize plenty of players on the field in the biggest sporting event of the year. Wow, 0 players from Bama on active rosters.. at least the bills had a couple.
Since he just joined them a week ago, he was easy for you to miss, but Jordan Ta’amu is with the chiefs.
LSU is very well represented on both sides. Very nice.
absolutely. great to see Fournette get his TD yesterday, and obviously CEH as well. should be 4 starters from LSU (Fournette and White for TB and Mathieu and CEH for KC, IDK if Minter starts).
The Honey Badger is a joy to watch. I’ve always been jealous of LSU’s NFL talent. I think it’s as good as, if not better than Bams’s NFL production.
Yeah, that’s surprising considering the number of Bama players drafted in recent years.
Supposed to be a reply to BuiltbyBama
They still have the most players on active rosters, and it’s by a fairly sizable margin.
Deandre Baker, a perfect example of how to ruin a career.
