Sometimes having the conference’s best player at a position just isn’t enough to be considered the best unit in the SEC.

We learned that right away in our latest series, which ranked each positional group 1-14 based on the conference’s best and worst.

Though Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott is clearly the most established talent at the position in the conference heading into 2015, it was Auburn that got the nod as the league’s best group of QBs based on the talent Gus Malzahn has stockpiled at the position during the last couple of years.

That’s not to say that having the best guy at the top doesn’t count for something, as the Bulldogs came in second in the rankings.

Using both front-line talent and quality depth as a measuring stick for the general health of a position, how did your favorite team stack up against the rest of the conference in our position rankings?
