SEC Shorts went all out with its latest episode, providing fans with an extended episode following a wild Selection Sunday! It captures the chase to the College Football Playoff in a wild capture-the-flag-style battle scene.
Texas is the first to claim a Playoff flag in the episode. Even with the loss to Georgia, the Longhorns were always safely into the final field with an impressive 11-win regular season.
Georgia is next up, but the Bulldogs are initially heavily pinned down with injuries to Carson Beck and their starting punter in the SEC Championship. Hope is in the foxhole and fires up Georgia enough to make a run for the flag.
SEC command is also stunned to learn that the ACC title flag, and the 12-seed, were nabbed by Clemson. In spite of 3 losses, the Tigers rallied for a win over SMU in Charlotte.
The Big Ten offensive then commences with 4 teams grabbing Playoff flags. But rest comfortably with the show getting in quality digs at Penn State missing top-5 wins and Ohio State getting trolled by Michigan planting a flag after a win over the Buckeyes.
Back in the SEC, Ole Miss tries to mount a counterattack, only to step on a Florida trap game land mine. South Carolina takes its chance and appears on the verge of completing a run before getting taken down by officials.
However, Tennessee rips out mustard bottles and trash cans to crash the party and grab one final Playoff spot for the SEC.
Alabama, worried it is not going to make it, sets off the “Bama protocol” with ESPN and SEC bias trying to get the Tide to crash the party. Instead, Alabama is forced to witness SMU grabbing one last at-large bid for the field.
When it comes to the Playoff episode, SEC Shorts certainly went all out, and it’s a sight to behold. Check it out:
