Five days remain before the NCAA’s month-long dead period takes effect, and coaches are wrapping up recruiting before bowl preparations.

Alabama added a pair of commitments in the last week, extending its lead as the nation’s best class.

Florida, with new head coach Jim McElwain, has its work cut out for it trying to salvage a class that plummeted after several prospects de-committed.
