Tailgating prior to games is one of the most attractive things about SEC football games, not to mention it helps get your mind right on gameday.

The SEC certainly has some incredible tailgating venues, it’s all about great food, passionate fans and time-honored traditions.

Whether it’s relaxing on Ole Miss’ sprawling 10-acre Grove or joining Tennessee’s Vol Navy, all SEC fans participate in tailgating in their own unique way.

Tailgater Magazine recently ranked the top 25 college football tailgating venues (you can view it here), and the biggest news is Ole Miss didn’t finish No. 1 in the SEC. That distinction belonged to LSU, which finished No. 2 overall just behind Oregon.

Seven of the SEC’s tailgating venues were ranked in the top 25, according to the magazine:

1. Oregon
2. LSU
