As we’ve seen in NCAA football and the MLB regular season, COVID-19 is likely to cause schedule disruptions. The NFL made it through three weeks of the 2020 season without any games canceled or postponed, but positive cases with the Tennessee Titans are leading to some changes to the Week 4 schedule.

On Wednesday, the NFL announced that the Tennessee-Pittsburgh game scheduled for Sunday would be moved:

“The Steelers-Titans game, originally scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, will be rescheduled to allow additional time for further daily COVID-19 testing and to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel. Details on the new game date and time on either Monday or Tuesday will be announced as soon as possible.”

Now, Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone is reporting that the CBS television crew is preparing for a Monday game.

“CBS crew is being told Steelers-Titans will be Monday night,” Kuharsky tweeted.

The Titans facilities have all been shut down for the week. We’ll see if Derrick Henry and company are affected by the disruption to the practice routine.
