The SEC has dominated college football since the mid-2000s, and that trend won’t be ending any time soon based on current recruiting rankings.

In fact, of the top-10 teams in the current 2019 247Sports composite rankings, six of them play in the SEC.

As you can see in the 2019 recruiting class rankings below, Alabama leads the way, with Texas A&M close behind in second. Mississippi State, Georgia, LSU and South Carolina also crack the top 10:

There’s still a lot of work to do before the 2019 classes are finalized, but this is a great sign, especially for teams like Mississippi State and South Carolina that don’t often have top-10 classes.

With so many of the top high school players heading to the SEC, the conference’s dominance isn’t likely to end any time soon.
