It’s an unusually light SEC docket today as most programs open the second half of the season against non-ranked opponents. The Game of the Day happens mid-afternoon in Tuscaloosa when Texas A&M tries to end a two-game losing streak and win for the second time in three years at Alabama.

TEXAS A&M at ALABAMA, 3:30 p.m. ET, CBS — Can Crimson Tide fans just be happy with a win? That’s all Nick Saban is asking this week from one of the SEC’s most rabid fanbases after many of its members weren’t satisfied with Alabama’s performance last time out, a 1-point win at Arkansas. Three weeks ago, Texas A&M was ranked No. 6 heading into Starkville before the wheels came off for Kevin Sumlin’s group. The Aggies hit a brick will before being dumptrucked at home to fellow Magnolia State power Ole Miss. Could this be the final game that knocks Texas A&M out of the Top 25? Likely so, but if there’s any road team in the SEC with the best chance of winning today based on quarterback play, the Aggies have the best shot. Kenny Hill’s going to test the Alabama secondary almost every snap and if the Crimson Tide’s running game doesn’t take over, playing catch-up could prove challenging.
