Instead of adding more fuel to the fire, Fox Sports radio host Colin Cowherd “tipped his cap” to Clemson coach Dabo Swinney and his staff following last night’s win over Alabama in the national championship.

Swinney had called Cowherd a “fraud” during his post-game press conference in response to comments made by the radio personality earlier this season, when Cowherd said that Clemson was a “fraud” and would “get their ears boxed by whoever they play” in the playoffs.

If you watch the video, Cowherd admits he was wrong, but says he will continue to “have strong opinions” no matter the reaction he gets.

Or, as some might call it, having plenty of hot takes.
