Add this to the long list of dirty hits from Vontaze Burfict.

The Oakland Raiders defender landed a dangerous blow to Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle in the first half of their game on Sunday. Burfict was flagged for unnecessary roughness and ultimately ejected for a late helmet-to-helmet hit. The play was reviewed after the initial 15-yard penalty

Burfict has a reputation of being one of the dirtiest players in the league, and has been ejected and fined multiple times for dirty hits. The former Arizona State star played seven seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals before the Raiders signed him to a one-year deal. He’s started in all three games this season for the Raiders, and had 17 tackles and a pass defended entering Week 4.

Burfict is perhaps most remembered for a vicious hit to the head of former Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown late in a playoff game in the 2015 season that helped the Steelers rally for an 18-16 win.

In Cincinnati, Burfict had eight and a half sacks and five interceptions. He made the Pro Bowl in 2013. In Oakland, Burfict was reunited with former Bengals and current Raiders defensive coordinator Paul Guenther.
