WATCH: FSU defender ejected following hit on Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence

With Clemson leading Florida State 14-0 late in the second quarter, FSU defender Hamsah Nasirildeen was ejected for a targeting hit against Tigers QB Trevor Lawrence. The call was reviewed, and it was upheld.

With Lawrence rolling out of the pocket, Nasirildeen came up and lowered the crown of his helmet on Lawrence, and the QB buckled backwards.

Following the hit, Clemson’s sidelines didn’t take too kindly to it either.

After the penalty, Clemson DL Christian Wilkins scored a TD. Clemson is up 21-0 and driving for more points.
