No. 1 Alabama’s domination of LSU is sure to mix up the College Football Playoff Rankings in the upcoming week after the Crimson Tide dominated the Tigers Saturday night.

ESPN analysts Joey Galloway and Jesse Palmer clearly think along the same lines, because neither had LSU in their top 5 teams on Sunday afternoon.

Both automatically slotted Alabama and Clemson at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively before moving on to the rest of the board and didn’t even disagree with each other.

Each had Georgia as the first team out at No. 5 with Michigan at No. 4 and Notre Dame at No. 3, suggesting that if either Notre Dame or Michigan loses another game, the SEC Championship could feature two teams ranked in the top 4 of the College Football Playoff if they win out.

The other teams considered on the board were Ohio State, UCF, Washington State, Oklahoma, and West Virginia.
