The Kansas Jayhawks just fired head coach David Beaty this week, though Beaty will remain on the sidelines through the end of the year.

However, the embarrassing losses continued for the Jayhawks, even though they had a chance to win their first Big 12 road game in 10 years at Kansas State on Saturday afternoon.

Driving in K-State territory late in the fourth quarter, trailing 21-17, the Jayhawks horribly and hilariously botched a screen pass. As you can see below, QB Peyton Bender thinks twice about throwing a screen, but as he brings the ball down, it slips out of his hands and the Wildcats recover:

The Jayhawks fell to 3-7 with the loss, and the embarrassing streak of Big 12 road losses continues for at least another week.

However, help could be on the way, as the Jayhawks have been in contact with former LSU coach Les Miles about their opening at head coach, according to reports.
