WATCH: Ole Miss DB A.J. Moore ejected for vicious hit on Auburn punt returner
Saturday’s game wasn’t going so well for the Ole Miss Rebels, falling behind 21-3 as they were trying to take down the Auburn Tigers.
Then, they made things even harder on themselves, as senior DB A.J. Moore was ejected for a targeting penalty early in the second quarter.
As you can see in the video below, Moore absolutely launches into the Auburn punt returner, resulting in several flags being thrown immediately:

A quick review confirmed Moore’s ejection and added 15 yards to the Tigers’ field position.
Auburn quickly drove down the field and scored on a long touchdown run by RB Kerryon Johnson to extend the lead to 28-3.
It’s not looking good for the Rebels, as the rout appears to be on early in Saturday’s game.
