The confetti has barely stopped falling on Monday’s National Championship Game. Why on Earth would anyone want to project next year‘s bowl lineup now?

Because it’s the SEC and we’re nuts, that’s why!

Alabama is still the king of the mountain in the SEC and will remain that way until somebody proves they can knock off the Crimson Tide. We are projecting one College Football Playoff team from the SEC and two others in major bowls.

Yes, we are going to start off a wee bit conservative. We do think 12 SEC teams go bowling in 2019 with Ole Miss returning to the fold after its postseason sanctions.
