What ever happened to Brent Musburger? If you’re wondering, it is because he has mainly been on the SEC Network during Saturday’s slate of games the past two seasons.

Covering the Southeastern Conference shouldn’t be a huge issue, except awfulannouncing.com says it is a travesty that his talents are being wasted on low-level SEC games. Some games the website referenced were Sam Houston State-LSU, New Mexico State-Florida and UT Martin-Mississippi State.

And then of course, the site mentioned Musburger having to cover eight Kentucky games over the last two seasons. When compared to calling national championship games in the past, Kentucky football just doesn’t compare.

Awfulannouncing.com does realize the legend is getting older, now at 77-years-old, but mentioned that he should at least be calling the early afternoon Big Ten games.

Do you think Musburger should be doing higher profile games, or is he way past his prime?
